Hello Millburn Families!

Our last Family Fun Night for the school year is May 21st, from 6-8pm. Family Fun Night is offered for grades EC-5th.

At this Family Fun Night, we will be playing Bingo and hosting an Ice Cream Social with the 7^th grade class. The theme is the cool 50s, so if you want to dress up in your favorite costume, that would be fantastic. The 7th graders will be taking ice cream orders and delivering them back to you, 50's style, on roller skates!

Between bingo games, you can take a break and check out the Scholastic Spring Book Fair in the west gym. There will also be water and juice boxes for sale. So come on out and let's make this final Family Fun Night of the year a huge success. See you all there.

PTO Vote Results

Thank you to all of the parents that took time out of their busy schedules to come and vote on April 21st.  The debate was open, honest and respectful.  This is a tribute to the parents at our school.  Below are the results from the vote in the order of popularity.  The last four items were write-in suggestions.  Both meetings were made aware of the write-in suggestions. 

 1.      Mimio Boards (similar to Smart Boards)

2.      Thermometer & Supplies for Health Office

3.      Money towards Basketball Uniforms

4.      LRC Bookcase & Table Repair

5.      Water Filter System for Teachers’ Lounges

6.      New Sign for Front of School

7.      “Call Me Jim”; Jim Williams, Motivational Speaker

8.      Playground Equipment/Awning

9.      Scholarships

10.  Hotdog Cart

  The vote results determine the order of priority.  If we find that an item costs less than anticipated, or has already been completed, that will allow us to do more items on the list.  With these guidelines, we feel we can at least get through item #7.  We will keep you posted on our progress.  And thank you again for your participation!
