Major Expenses are large, one time purchases that the PTO makes for the students at Millburn Central School.
Suggestions for Major Expenses are proposed by PTO members at our meetings. After being researched, these proposals are put to a vote at the regular monthly PTO meeting. Your PTO membership gives you voting rights!

WeatherBug Tracking Station and Program: a unique combination of live weather data and lesson plans that teach lesson to our children about math, science and geography. Click here to check out the link at the bottom of our home page!
Ice Maker in PTO Kitchen: This is used PTO & sporting event, plus general use for school staff (the nurse's office loves it!).
2008-2009
New Sound System: This equipment was installed in the East Gym and replaced old and unreliable equipment

Money raised by the Millburn Central PTO is used for the Student Enhancement Fund. Last year, the PTO allotted $12.00 per student to be used for field trips, speakers and special projects.
We're pleased to announce that this amount was raised to $15 per student for the 2008-2009 school year!
