Announcing the
District 24 Millburn Education Foundation
10th Annual March Madness Auction

The March Madness Auction has become a wonderful tradition of the Millburn District 24 Education Foundation, and we are excited as we plan this year’s Auction. Please join us for a spectacular evening at Midlane Country Club, Wadsworth, IL on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Midlane Country Club is an excellent venue providing food, drink and fun. This event promises to be a great evening.

 

 

March Madness has a tradition of being the biggest night of the school year, both socially and financially, for Millburn District 24. It is the premier fundraising event for our children’s school. This year’s goal is to exceed last year’s auction gross amount of $50,000. Your generosity and support is what helps enhance the Millburn School District 24 resources. All proceeds from this event will be used to promote curriculum enrichment through cultural and fine arts programs, enhance the district’s facilities and provide college scholarships. With your support, we will be sure to reach our fundraising goal and having a great time doing so! Please look for your personal invitations to this event to arrive after the holidays.

 

In the meantime, save March 13th as the date. Also, in the days ahead, your child will bring home a Donation form. The donations from our District 24 families are very popular. Please be creative. Some examples of successful auction items are hosting a boating trip, tours of local manufacturing plants, an opportunity to cook a meal with a chef at a local restaurant, tutoring, baking, hosting a wine tasting or dinner at your home, etc. It is your generous donations that help make this event so successful.
